Darren Till and Luke Rockhold were involved in a brawl at the press conference ahead of their boxing match on at Misfits 22 on Saturday night
Darren Till and Luke Rockhold were caught up in a heated brawl as Till insisted on a change to the rules of their boxing bout.
Former UFC stars Till and Rockhold are set to clash in the ring at Misfits 22 in Manchester on Saturday night. However, sparks flew early when they came face-to-face at their pre-fight press conference on Thursday night. Till repeatedly tried to provoke Rockhold on stage, with security having to step in multiple times to keep the peace.
Till, who once vied for the UFC welterweight title, demanded that Rockhold agree to an eight-round fight instead of the agreed six. Rockhold conceded, and there was a moment where the pair managed to shake hands on the new agreement.
However, Till was relentless and continued to confront Rockhold, who at one point tried to climb over the dais to reach his adversary. Responding to Rockhold’s claim that Till has been using drugs, the Brit retorted: „If I’m a cokehead, why won’t you do eight rounds?“, reports All Out Fighting.

Luke Rockhold takes on Darren Till while Tony Ferguson faces Salt Papi as Misfits returns with a bang in Manchester this weekend. The undercard is also stacked with TOWIE stars Joey Essex and Demi Sims making their debuts.

Rockhold, who once held the middleweight world title in the UFC before losing it to Michael Bisping, took a swipe at Till’s near-miss status. „He’s a former title challenger because every time he gets to the top he gets put down,“ he said.
Till took the dig on the chin before reiterating his demands. „That’s fair dos,“ he said. „So let’s do eight rounds, you f***ing muppet. You said you would pull out the fight – you didn’t even want more money – if it was eight rounds. Eight rounds, come on, if you’re man, eight rounds. You’re a s***house, you’re a muppet.“

The feuding pair subsequently squared up but were separated by security personnel as Till removed his shirt and tried to reach Rockhold. „Who’s fat now, d***head?“ he questioned Rockhold before adding: „You’re stressed, you little muppet.“ The duo will meet again at Friday evening’s weigh-in before touching gloves on Saturday night.
In the co-main event, another UFC legend, former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson takes on TikTok star Salt Papi whilst Conor McGregor’s former teammate Dillon Danis battles Warren Spencer in an MMA bout staged in a boxing ring.
