The Pittsburgh Steelers have never had a losing season under Mike Tomlin’s tutelage.
As such, Aaron Rodgers will be under a lot of pressure this season.
This might be his final campaign in the league, and he would obviously love to go out with a bang.
With that in mind, former NFL star Drew Brees offered his colleague – and former rival – a piece of advice:
“I think more than anything, just being in the moment. He’s going to an organization that really has an established identity. Those guys haven’t had a losing season in 30, 25 years. They have a formula, and it’s play great defense, they run the football effectively, they play a tough, physical brand of football. The QB position has the chance to elevate everybody, which it always does, but especially in that situation, you can see how they build that roster to win now,” Brees said.

Rodgers admitted that this might be the end of the line for him.
He also acknowledged that he hadn’t played well in his days with the New York Jets.
However, this isn’t his first rodeo.
He spent well more than a decade in one of the winningest and most historic franchises in all of football, so he’s shown that he’s more than capable of dealing with that type of heat.
Of course, he’s no longer the player he used to be, but the Steelers won’t need him to be that version, either.
Arthur Smith will turn to the running game early and often, with the defense holding down the fort as well.
Rodgers is, by all accounts, one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever walk the face of the Earth, and expectations will always be as high as his talent.
Still, they just need him to run an efficient offense, make a couple of big plays every now and then, and elevate what’s already there.
Rodgers has always drawn heat for winning just one Super Bowl, but who knows? He might get another one with the very same team he beat at the biggest stage.
