The NBA trade deadline is less than a week away, and while there hasn’t been much activity on the trade market lately, there are rumors that things could start to pick up very soon.
There has been lots of talk that Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat and Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls could get traded for a while, and now in recent days, De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings has been added to the list of players who could get moved before the Feb. 6 deadline.
Per Evan Sidery, all three stars will likely be wearing different uniforms within the next week.
The consistent buzz right now is all three of Jimmy Butler, De’Aaron Fox and Zach LaVine will likely be on new teams within the next week.
Also plenty of chatter coming from other teams trying to acquire role players off sellers.

Butler has been insistent about being traded over the last several weeks, and he has been so disruptive as a result of his unhappiness that he has been suspended three times by the Heat.
When the 35-year-old has played this season, he has been effective, but his scoring average of 17.0 points a game is his lowest since the 2013-14 season, which was his first as a full-time starter.
Miami is going nowhere with or without him, and it thus makes sense for them to liquidate him and build around young players such as Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo.
LaVine has been the subject of trade rumors for a couple of years, and he’s averaging 24.0 points a game while notching career-highs in overall shooting percentage and 3-point accuracy, which makes him a tempting player to trade for.
Fox, 27, could take a number of teams up a notch or two, thanks to his high production, ample athleticism and dangerous abilities in crunch time.
He is rumored to be looking to be sent to the San Antonio Spurs where he could form a tremendous duo with Victor Wembanyama.
