The Milwaukee Bucks have left their slow start to the season behind them.
However, as much as they’ve improved, they’re still not considered an elite team in the Eastern Conference.
That’s why they know they must keep adding talent to get over the top.
With that in mind, they’re reportedly engaged in serious trade talks as the NBA deadline approaches.
“The Bucks remain in aggressive pursuit of Zach LaVine. Milwaukee is willing to include Khris Middleton and draft compensation in discussions with the [Chicago] Bulls,” Evan Sidery of Forbes wrote on X. “If LaVine indeed ends up in Milwaukee, it will likely happen with multiple facilitating teams involved.”

Truth be told, the Bulls shouldn’t hesitate to take this deal.
They’ve reportedly been trying to get rid of the injury-prone LaVine for years now.
He’s reportedly had multiple run-ins with head coach Billy Donovan, and he’s making top-dollar.
Yet, he would be a big offensive boost for Milwaukee.
Though he might not be suited to be a primary scoring option, he could be spectacular next to Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks need another scorer besides their two stars, and Middleton isn’t the same player he was prior to multiple ankle surgeries.
The Bulls could buy out Middleton and use the draft compensation they would likely receive for LaVine.
This might be a win-win trade scenario, and those don’t happen very often in the NBA, much less between divisional foes.
