The Indiana Fever were hit with horrible news on Thursday night, but their biggest star received support from an NBA legend.
After Caitlin Clark announced that she was done playing for the remainder of the WNBA season, LeBron James went online and wrote a response on her social media post.
“Minor setback for a MAJOR COMEBACK!! Rest up, get healthy and be YOU!” James commented on Clark’s Instagram post.

Clark hasn’t been on the court since July 15, when she suffered a groin injury.
Since then, she has been on the sidelines rooting for her team and attempting to rehabilitate and get better.
At first, the team had thought that she’d be back soon, but her return was delayed again and again, and it became apparent that the injury was more severe than expected.
Fans had started to assume that Clark would miss the rest of the season, and their worst fears were confirmed on Thursday via a post from the WNBA superstar.
James wasn’t the only one coming out to show support for Clark, but he may have been the largest name.
He knows all too well what it’s like to have an injury get in the way of plans.
Throughout his many years in the NBA, James has experienced a few physical problems that have kept him off the floor.
However, he has been relatively healthy lately and is still moving with power and ease at 40 years old.
Clark is one of the most incredible athletes in sports these days and has already found great success, but she was hoping for a lot more this year.
She will be back as soon as possible, and this support from James and others will help her on her road to recovery.
